PURPOSE OF JOB
§ Be responsible for assisting the GPO G.C Director, GPO Category Sourcing Managers, meet the goals and objectives for the team
§ Provide data collection, management and reporting for the G. C Market in support of stakeholder communications, GPO management and APAC regional leadership team requirements
§ Undertake opportunity analysis for key categories and support l sourcing managers in analyzing data for specific projects.
Implement the appropriate non Ariba procurement processes, services and tools that will benefit the region and ensure alignment across the region and with global practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULT AREAS
I - Relationship Management:
§ Work in closed cooperation with aforementioned teams – GPO, BPO, Regional Teams, Finance
§ Establish and maintain spend, budget and saving reporting.
§ Develop and maintain an informal G.C regional Procurement community spanning across BU and Asia teams and global category managers to leverage GPO tools, strategies and spend.

II - Category strategy development and implementation:
§ Support Category MangersSupport CSM across all phases of the sourcing process including project startup, Internal and External Analysis, strategy development, Implementation Planning and Supplier Management
§ Implement tools and processes for visibility of spend, savings and other performance metrics.
§ Assist GPO China teams with savings submissions and review for compliance to global savings definitions. Provide training as needed and address issues on an adhoc basis.
§ Provide support to regional sourcing team – opportunity analysis and project support
§ In conjunction with global teams and GPO leadership, identify and develop further opportunities – provide support for initial opportunity analyses and/or project start-ups.
§ Develop and maintain local supplier and market intelligence as needed by projects.
§ Develop industry knowledge and provide data collection, analysis and project support for multiple spend categories.
§ Contribute to identify cost savings opportunities – both sourcing and process efficiencies.

III - Supplier Management:
§ Manage the metrics for supplier performance and service levels; provide reporting for specific leadership teams as needed (e.g. Region, EMBU, Global Category Managers, etc).

IV - Business Processes:
§ Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of Procurement practices, procedures and systems to reduce costs and increase efficiency by simplifying business processes.
§ Ensure procurement operations are executing work in accordance with all relevant Pfizer policy and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Skills: Key competencies and demonstrated skills include:
· Knowledge of procurement systems, processes and procedures ideal.
· Strong Analytical skills. Good business acumen and knowledge of Finance (e.g. Budgeting, Cost Analysis, Project Finance).
· Effective management of multiple projects – ability to effectively meet deadlines (good time management and focus on appropriate priorities).
· Expert use Excel for data analysis and good at PPT.
· Good Communication and interpersonal skills.
· Results oriented.
· Ability to influence key internal stakeholders and build effective relationships.
· Ability to travel.

Profile and education
· B.S. (or equivalent) in business or a technical discipline. Master’s Degree desirable.
Ideally some business experience within an international environment.
