GE is an equal opportunity employer, offering a great work environment, challenging career opportunities, professional training and competitive compensation.The Senior Support Manager (SSM) will lead a team of Customer Support Managers (CSM) and Field Support Engineers (FSE) to drive total customer satisfaction. The SSM will assign customers to each team member, lead the Customer Teams (CT), driving engagement, responsiveness, technical support, and proactive fleet reliability management. The SSM will allocate resources, set the strategy for the region, & will lead the operating rhythm to support the overall SC&PSO and regional customer metrics.
Essential Responsibilities
The Senior Support Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and customer deliverables. In this role you will develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, solve complex customer issues, be involved in customer account planning, contribute to the overall business strategy, and drive regional customer satisfaction. • Provide technical & commercial leadership, and direction to the Customer Team, as well as all contributing resources • Provide guidance and leadership to direct reports • Develop, implement, and maintain operating plans for each assigned customer • Assure periodic program reviews are conducted with Customer(s) • Monitor the Customer for feedback and ensure resources are applied to program to meet commitments • Provide and maintain an overall plan for the Region • Provide direction / training for all customer interfaces within the region • Take a leadership role in the definition of elements and recommendations supporting the overall best interest of both the Customer and the company • Assure customer satisfaction is maintained relative to the timely and quality responses to customer issues • Develop processes to improve efficiencies of the team and provide administrative management for direct reports
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in technical field from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience • At least 10 years of experience in a product, fleet, or customer support role • Strong oral and written communication skills
