Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

Reporting to the Engineering Services (ES) Manager, the Engineering Services IT/Tools Engineer supports the IT and Tools needs for the Configuration Management (CM) focal, Technical Writing Services (TWS) focal, and Data Management (DM) focal. • Coordinates with the ES focals to ensure that their IT and Tool requirements are understood and satisfied. • Coordinates with the IT department to ensure that IT services and tools required by ES are procured and maintained. • Supports the development and maintenance of bought in ES tools. • Develops and maintains internally developed ES tools. • Supports ES Engineers with training and ongoing technical support for IT services and tools. • Apply creative ideas, experienced judgment, and sound analytical methods to solve complex problems critical to the ES IT/tools.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, from an accredited college or university. • Minimum of 4 years of experience in an Engineering environment, preferably Aerospace related. • Strong oral and written communication skills in English language and strong interpersonal skills. • Strongly process focused. • Expert knowledge of MS Office applications and development of tools utilizing these (Access DB development experience essential). • Experience in use and support of Product Lifecycle Management tools desired. • Clear thinking / problem solving skills • Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity
