职位描述

Report to: President, Asia

Location: Shanghai


Specific Responsibilities
?
1. Work closely with the Operations team across the plants – Plant Managers, Engineering team, and supporting functions to formulate the Asia Operation’s long-term and short-term objectives consistent with and supportive of established corporate objectives and policies.
2. Developing operating plans to include profitability plans, volume plans, capital and other expense budgets for achieving overall Hand Tools’ objectives.
3. Ensure organizational framework or strategy which is consistent with established objectives of Hand Tools business and operating effectively and efficiently to support the overall Asia’s growth
4. Reviewing the activities and results of operations to assure progress towards the attainment of the goals set for the various products.
5. Build and develop the management team that will support the company’s business to ensure continuity of effective management in order to be able to meet long and short-term human resource needs.
6. Stimulating and encouraging innovations in product development, engineering, and technology ensuring continued viability and profitability of the products within the geography, and achieve an efficient and effective lean manufacturing environment.
7. Assessing the business implications and potential of identified marketing, legislative and financial trends in current and future operations of the facility.
8. Drive lean manufacturing, manage plant transformation where required to deliver improved process, cost and quality


Qualifications & Experience

1. Substantial operational experience in increasingly responsible manufacturing and supply chain leadership positions leading to the VP Operations position.
2. Lean manufacturing experience with intense focus on process improvement and stretch goal achievement
3. Experience in managing multiple sites, multiple product lines and multiple channels of distribution
4. Experience in complex, dynamic problem solving especially related to capacity solutions, quality issues, and cost improvement.
5. Experience with large, complex, growing global business with outstanding brands, experienced in managing complex, high volume, high SKU count, machining / in-house manufacturing enterprise
6. Global business perspective
7. Bachelor of Science, Engineering or related field preferred. Masters degree preferred.
8. Fluency in Chinese and English
9. Willing to take challenges, learning and contribute
10. Ability to contribute at a strategic and tactical level
11. Highly disciplined, organized, and personally self-sufficient
12. High detail orientation and reputation for quality
13. Result/performance oriented and strong sense of urgency, highly responsive
