General Purpose & Objectives:
Develop, initiate and execute business development strategy to develop and penetrate target customers and key accounts in China in order to realize sales volume increase and achieve sales objectives for China FP.
Major Tasks & Activities:
1. To develop and formulate business development strategy in compliance with the company business strategy.
2. To ensure the execution of commercial programs are in conformity with meeting and exceeding the projected sales targets and other business objectives on revenue, profitability and sales growth.
3. To review different market segments, identify and execute on market opportunities, carry out proper analysis on the sales data, to figure out the better way to develop an effective sales strategy.
4. To maintain the current customer relations and explore the new sales channel and target customers to increase market share in existing markets and maximize new business development opportunities.
5. To lead, train, motivate and grow an effective sales force to strive and drive for optimal results.
6. Contribute to the China FP strategies and work with other function leaders closely to execute the overall China strategies.
Quality Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above in Sales/Commercial/Food science/Veterinarian or related major, MBA strongly preferred.
2. Above 8 years sales experience in food industries with a minimum of 5 years at managerial level.
3. Successful sales and new business development track record in food market.
4. Strong commercial sense.
5. Good marketing and sales knowledge.
6. Deep understanding of Chinese food markets and Chinese food industries.
7. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
8. Strong data analytical and problem shooting skills.
9. Able to develop a strong sales team and motivate them with diverse skills.
10. Creative in developing new business opportunities.
11. Demonstrated strategic thinking as well as execution.
12. Aggressive in challenging market, result-oriented, self-motivated and willing to work hard under high pressure.
13. Good English both in speaking and writing.
