This is a Famous US Company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Assist CPO and Global Category Lead in developing, implementing, and communicating the corporate-wide Procurement strategy
? Lead the development and implementation of the procurement strategy for all PFGR and Components globally. This position has three direct reports that lead electronics, mechanicals, and components categories.
? Own process partner relationships and supplier relationship management for specified categories(s)
? Develop, implement, and communicate supplier/relationship management policies and procedures
? Lead development of the negotiation strategy
? Establish performance management standards for category and suppliers; monitors performance of suppliers
? Foster close partnership with 2 business segments and corporate functions; maintain internal customer satisfaction metrics
? Works with procurement teams and users to ensure internal customer needs are met
? Oversee supplier qualification and certification programs
? Develops and manages supplier base with input from internal customers
? Oversees RFI, RFP contract development and review processes and utilizes appropriate support tools to enhance sustainable results
? Acts as a central point of expertise and knowledge for users
? Constantly monitors supplier market characteristics and identifies opportunities resulting from market shifts
Qualifications:
? Master degree, Engineering background
? Broad business knowledge and a minimum of fifteen years of progressive experience in Procurement or Supply Chain to include previous or current direct management of direct material procurement.
? Experience in a low volume/high mix make to order and assemble to order business model
? Deep understanding of supplier market and category spend
? Ability to develop tailored strategies for commodities managed
? Capacity to plan and manage negotiation effort
? Profound category understanding/expertise
? Strong teamwork skills required for facilitation/interfacing role within specific sourcing category
? Solid management skills to interact effectively with Procurement Teams and users
? Able to gain cooperation in implementing significant change in systems, practices and procedures
? Thorough understanding and experience in Strategic Planning, Sourcing Strategy Formulation & Implementation, Supplier Analysis, and Negotiation
? Experience with supply chain and procurement software applications – excellent analysis skills using Excel. SAP expertise preferred.
? Excellent communication and influencing skills and the ability to build strong working relationships at levels
? Effective project management skills
? Able to travel up to 50%
