职位描述
Main Responsibility
TRENDS & FASHION
Apply understanding of H&M trends, customer, concept to identify the right suppliers’ capabilities and skills.
Based on the above, interpret trends into new materials & products with suitable suppliers.
Keep every stage in the development process as efficient as possible.
Follow closely what competitors are working on – product, material, and qualities.
DEVELOP MATERIAL & SUPPORT PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Identify & develop new material ( includes PU, fabric, yarn, components)/ treatment/ trims .
Drive the developments to ensure best options, qualities, prices, lead times.
In pre-order stage, support Quotation Merchandiser with stuk appropriate options on fabrics/ qualities specific to product.
Interpret concept to material. Work with suppliers/mills to develop their capabilities on new qualities and / or improve performance on complex qualities.
For new material, update information and price in Castor.
COMMUNICATION AND COOPERATION
Work closely with the Material Management team in PO for suppliers for new material, season’s materials etc.
With PD, support PO team on stuk, new developments.
Collaborate on common goals as relevant with Material Coordinator/ Buyer , Product Developer, Merchandising team, Material, Sustainability, Quality teams.
Keep BO informed of Developments status.
COOPERATION WITH SUPPLIERS
Regular communication, identify supplier strengths, give and receive feedback to improve performance.
With PD, update suppliers on trends, concepts and stuk.
