职位描述
Main purpose:
Responsible for set up and execute competitive procurement processes for all relevant purchasing categories with a bottom line perspective for the business
Key responsibilities:
1. Set up the overall strategic procurement model
2. Implement processes for different procurement categories
3. Continuously scan and develop the supplier base
4. Tender processes and negotiations
5. Purchasing contracts
6. Risk management (credit, supply, etc)
Accountable for:
1. Create an meet budget
2. Forecasting likely levels of demand for services and products to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels to maximize business efficiency;
3. Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality;
4. Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities;
5. Producing reports and statistics
6. Evaluating bids and making recommendations based on commercial and technical factors;
7. Training and supervising the work of other members of staff
Job Qualifications/Educational Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Food or Chemical engineering
2. 10 years purchasing experience with at least 5 years in the food industry
3. Broad knowledge of commodities & manufacturing processes
4. 5 year Experience on purchasing & logistics management,good at supplier optimization and cost down
5. Strong leadership skills required with a proven ability to lead the team successfully
6. Strong ethical principles
7. Fluent in English in oral and written
