Job Title Material Development & Special Projects Coordinator
Department Supply Chain
Location Putian
Report to Material Development & Special Projects Senior Coordinator
Job Summary This position is to assist senior coordinator with new material developing, sourcing and daily email reply, paperwork sorting, as well as perform special projects as assigned.
Essential Functions
? Responsible for the development and sourcing of new materials, as well as components of TOMS products.
? Push seasonal MSRC in time and first analyze MSRC to understand the new develop concepts.
? Clear explain the MSRC and allocate the new developments to appropriate supplier based on different capabilities of each.
? Monitor develop process and ensure all materials be developed or sourced within timeframe allotted.
? Effectively evaluate new developments for cost, basic lab test, physical characteristics and trace feedback to get an appropriate standard confirmed.
? Organize and update material library, continuously search for new and innovative materials.
Provide key material support to upstream and downstream units, collaborate with partners to ensure and expedite process.
? Participate in development SR review and point out pending items, problems in time, provide alternatives at the same time.
? Gather adopted color swatches from factories and pass to pre-production team for reference after checked.
? Proactively watch sample material status, remind agents/factories update MCS weekly to perceive the potential problem.
? Work with factory and supplier closely to figure out solution timely whatever problem involved material be brought out.
? Negotiate with partners, vendors to get most competitive net terms to support TOMS products.
Special Responsibilities.
? Pursues team goals and assist superior on team building and optimize team procedures.
Essential Skills
? Fluent English in both writing and speaking.
? Proficiency in Excel, Word, and familiar with PowerPoint, Photoshop.
? Thorough problem analytical and decidedly problem solving ability.
? Actively listen to inputs of others and summarize information.
? Effectively convey and receive idea, information and direction.
? Execute solution in a timely manner.
? Can delivery excellence under pressure.
? Good self-starter and quick self-learner.
? Superior interpersonal and communication skill.
? Must be good team player with excellent cooperation skill.
Qualifications
? Minimum of 2 years of footwear material development relevant experience and possess basic understanding of various materials.
? College degree or above.
? Familiar with shoe making process is preferred.

? Willing to travel as necessary.
