Job Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of this position include but not limited to the following
1 supervise/ monitor development and production of China retail product in accordance with the market requirments and documents, control over all the stages of sampling, production and delivery of product
2 work with suppliers at all stages of production; adjustment of source base to China retail
3 product costing ( under application of China specific rules)
4 manage and monitor all bulk ( shipment in timing)
5 coverage of margin targets
6 cover the process of China counter development ( calculation, min. handling, scenario calculations)
7 direct and communicate ( in collaboration with China Brand Manager and HQ Production manager ) the different versions of China product with supply base
8 control all production and shipment processes
9 negotiation of capacities, delivery windows, cost with suppliers
10 develop expertise in China product rules ( trade rules, product specifications, etc)
11 sourcing new suppliers and product
12 Interactions with other Departments:Inside the Company: Shanghai Office China Team: Designer, Pattern expert, Product developer, China BMs, HQ: PM, Trade team, Outside the Company: Suppliers
Qualifications:
1 knowledge of oral and written English
2 1.wide area of understanding in apparel order placement and China specific rulings. Competences inIT
3.Experience in purchases/production. Understanding of principles of making and production of collections, systmetic thinking, knowledge of Foreign activities basics, finance documents. Good communication and negotiation skills. Understanding of business-processes. At least 4 years work experience in the similar position.
4 Higher is a necessity.
5 Independent, solution oriented thinking, Initiative, loyalty, personal responsibility and high personal motivation . Ability and wish to make decisions and undertake responsibility. Ability to work in a team and independently;
Ability to work independently and target oriented. Ability to understand and follow the existing strategy. Result oriented
