This is a Famous US Auto Parts Company.


Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate closely with sourcing to ensure that product / process quality, technical and business requirements are defined for supplier selection.
2. Assess potential suppliers (gap analysis, pre-auditing etc) within cross-functional teams.
3. Evaluate potential supplier by SRA (supplier release audit) for the process technical section, fulfill development activities until supplier close gaps and meet BW requirements.
4. Support the buyer to prepare their Sourcing Board presentation, which should be presented in the Sourcing Board to the Head of Finance, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality & R&D, Purchasing and GCM, ensure the quality of the presentation can be reached the Sourcing Board standard, and support buyers for any questions from Sourcing Board members.
5. Ensure the meeting minutes and nomination letter can be signed correctly and in time.
6. Create the nomination list, which is the main tracking tool for the project steering and monitoring.
7. Fulfill all the nomination status for every part and also gather all relevant information regarding a part e.g. contact persons, appointments, supplier data and the handover status in the nomination list.
8. Control the handover status; support the buyer to check the quality of handover documents.
9. Share the supplier nomination information and supplier location situation.
10. Ensure all parts for all the new production lines can be localized as planned.
11. Analyze the production processes of the supplier, work out improvement activities together with the suppliers; optimize process to achieve better quality and lower cost. Support escalation levels of insufficient delivery performances accordingly.
12. Participate technical review, identify risks and define actions. Give comments of supplier nomination to the buyer.
13. Responsible for supplier APQP Tracking.
14. Represent Purchasing for all product VA/VE.
15. As the interface between GCM and RUs for supplier development.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or above in engineering
2. At least 5 years in the same level of position in an automotive or Tier1 business perspective
3. Purchasing knowledge of advanced purchasing, supplier audit/control and project management.
4. Knowledge of product development, manufacture processes.
5. Knowledge of VDA, TS 16949 quality system and concerning procedure, such as APQP, FMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC.
6. MS Office, understand engineering drawing requirement. Prefer be able to work with CAD or UG/Pro-E/Catia. Good data maintenance skill.
7. Cross-function team cooperation ability (team work with R&D, different RU plant)
8. English is fluent
