Responsibilities:
ERP & PGS BT operates a Global Model for the support of applications deployed as either Core Solutions or Non-Core Solutions. In this global model the Laboratory Operations team is responsible for the global strategy, design, implementation, operation and support of Laboratory Operations systems across more than fifty manufacturing sites in the PGS network. The Lab Ops Global Production Support Team Leader will work with a team of experts supporting the Quality Systems applications in their region.

The position of Senior Associate, Global Production Support is for an Information Technology professional with 3+ years of IT experience and knowledge working with applications within a GMP laboratory environment. The candidate should have proven experience of working in IT projects, have experience working as a liaison between business partners and technology colleagues and providing support for GMP laboratory applications. Additionally, the candidate must have good written and verbal skills and should be able to work independently with minimal supervision and be self-motivated.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Supporting a global "follow the sun" 7 x 24 L2 & L3 support operation, supporting the Team Leader.
? Incident resolution for all tickets working across Lab Ops Solution teams and service delivery partners to drive incident closure.
? Liaison with the other Regional and Centre Quality Systems Support teams for Lab Ops domain. Also liaising with other Lab Ops domain team members.
? Interface to BTI Service Desk operations.
? Ongoing ticket monitoring for SLA compliance
? Facilitate support and project related meetings and workshops, as necessary, with razor sharp focus on purpose, agenda, deliverables with BT partners, business clients and support vendors.
? Working within service level agreements, work flows, incident management, escalation processes, problem management, service catalogues and all other areas of BT related activities is a critical part of this position.
? Maintain visibility to BT service-level and operating-level agreements with the business and any Service Level or Operating Level agreement deliveries.
? Provide technical expertise and support to the Lab Ops and Quality Systems related applications.
? Analyse processes and make recommendations for improving efficiency, product or service delivery; and constantly strive to reduce expenses
? Must be able to work independently as well as with a team.
? Perform related duties as needed

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
The position will report into the Regional Support Team Lead and will not be directly responsible for any colleagues. There will be a need to ineract with the vendors of the Lab Ops Solution and Quality Tracking Systems Solution Non-Core Applications.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree. (Computer Science preferred)
3+ years of IT experience, including working with GMP laboratory applications
Knowledge of the Quality Operations and Pharmaceutical business
Good Written and Verbal communication skills
Proven track record of working in BT projects and BT teams
Strong Analytical and problem solving abilities
Experience developing and implementing applications within a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Methodology
Understanding of GMP
Prior experience working with production support per Service Level Agreements
Experience working within virtual teams
Ability to collaborate with project teams
Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt training/certification would be an advantage
This is an office position, and there may be upto 20% travel required. Given that the position is supporting approximately 70 sites globally there may be occasions when weekend or evening work is required.
