Job Title:Senior Process Engineer

Department:Engineering

Reports to:Director of Engineering

Location: Linping site, ZheJiang

Job Purpose:

Responsible for managing the engineering, start-up, commissioning and qualification of process systems and clean utilities to support fermentation, Chemistry, purification, formulation, filling and packaging process and operations for a vaccine manufacturing facility.

Major Accountabilities:

· Strong leadership, organizational planning and project management skills, and technical expertise in biotech unit operations.

· Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral). Ability to work with a cross functional team to achieve expected results.

· Experience with project design, construction, start-up, commissioning and validation as well as leading and supporting factory acceptance tests and site acceptance.

· Employ advanced engineering principles within area of engineering expertise.

· Ability to apply knowledge of engineering principles and practices outside of area of discipline expertise.

· Develop technical solutions to complex problems requiring the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.

· Ability to handle multiple projects at one time.

Ideal Background

Education (minimum/desirable): BS Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Science, or related field.

Languages:English fluent in speaking / writing

Relevant Experiences:

· Minimum 5 years related industry experience required.

· 1+ years experience in pharmaceutical/biotech operations, with thorough working knowledge production unit operations and validation principles is preferred.

· Direct experience with regulated environments (i.e. sFDA, cGMP, etc) is preferred required

· Design experience or owners experience in process utility systems including purified water, WFI, CIP, SIP, compressed air and waste treatment.

· Working knowledge of the processes for fermentation, Chemistry , purification and formulation.
