RESPONSIBILITIES
- Approval or Rejection of handover package / PPT process, ensuring sign off documents received from Commercialization team are correct and completed, also factory can produce and make production to the SOP. Ensuring finished product matches the signed approved sample.
Inform/communicate if there is any discrepancy found to the respective party.
- Running a daily morning meeting with your factory management and PM teams together to highlight problem areas within the factory and to work together on an corrective action plan, and highlight responsibilities to resolve or fix the issues as quickly as possible.
- In-line process control and QMI (Quality Management initiative) within the factory. Checking / controlling product in all area's / departments is matching and the approved signed sample, also issue necessary reports. Based on the data or issues, major or minor - work with the factory for improvements and the factory to issue their corrective action plan to solve the problem.
- Focus on new article introduction "First Day sign off of all new product" - Getting it right from day 1.
- Approval of First case shoes and controlling against the signed off check sheet prior to shoes being shipped to the customer.
- Ensure factory are performing Laboratory testing against our CBI performance standards and checking Lab test results from daily production are conducted and approved, and signed off by the factory.
- Within the handover / PPT process Identifying and highlight with the factories high risk area's and operations within their production process within the product, to ensure extra process controls are added to these area's within the production process. Working to make product more production friendly to minimize the risk of poor product and have better flow within the production process.
- Improving SOP's, ensuring work instruction are available for operators to work too and for process control to check against. Looking to introduce long term best practices.
- Performing the duties compliance to the Guiding Principle, Code of Conduct and Company's Policy.
- Complete and discuss the IDP, PMP with the immediate manager.
REQUIREMENTS.
1. Minimum 5 years of work experience in footwear industry. (commercialization, quality assurance).
2. Production Experience in various type of constructions (cement, vulcanized, hand stitch, injection, stitch & turn, others). This is to be based on the position being interviewed for.
3. Attention to details and analytical skill.
4. High Integrity, motivated with strong creative, organizational and planning skills.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Good command of English language. Mandarin will be an advantage.
7. Proficient computer skill.
