This is a USA Auto Parts Company.

Location: Asia

Job Summary:
A leader who drives overall sales and profitable growth of automotive market for AP region. The key interface among automotive OEM/tier customers in the region, and internal stakeholders, including territorial sales managers, global key account managers, and operations for issues which may impact the current and potential business.. Work with Automotive market managers in other regions of the world to develop market strategy, and execution plan to expand the market share and strengthen market position.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. Be the “Go To” person for the automotive market in AP
2. Closely work with and support TSMs in TW,ect.,and related Sales Managers to meet or exceed sales targets
3. Develop with Automotive market sales in other regions overall market strategy on product offering, sales, manufacturing, resources planning and pricing
4. Help establish practical and executable goals and action plans for major tier suppliers/OEMs
5. Ensures products are specified to maintain and increase revenue by prioritizing the opportunities on an account-by-account basis to obtain optimum sales and margin results.
6. Develop and manage strong client relationship, mainly decision makers and power sponsors, to ensure customer requirements, issues and initiatives are met in a timely manner.
7. Help drive closure of key automotive customers’ key deliverables, mainly in new business development, commercial issues, business model, RFQ, and contract review.
8. Ensure product and capacity readiness at PPAP to mitigate risks to program launch
9. Proactively works with all divisional management and related support departments to ensure on time customer service needs are met or exceeded.
10. Represents at trade shows and other professional activities.
11. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of group/divisional products, applications, features, advantages and benefits.
12. Keeps up with internal and external training and development.
13. Obtain specifications and approvals at engineering firms, major accounts and/or distributors assigned to develop increased sales opportunities and margins.
14. Evidence of leadership capabilities are a must.


Qualifications:
1. 6+ years of sales experience in automotive market for electronic products, either directly with major OEMs or tier suppliers
2. Experience with tier 1 or tier 2 accounts such as Bosch, Delphi, Visteon, Continental, Magna, and OEM’s is a strong plus.
3. Experience in Project/Program Management, with multiple sites on a global basis
4. Must be able to travel with no visa requires in most countries up to 50% of time; or as required with moment of notice
- Must demonstrate ability to motivate and sustain sales growth in region.
- Must have proven track record of exceeds plus experience.
5. Proven experience in managing people a plus
6. Experience in material science, tooling, logistics, financial planning a plus
7. Experience with “systems selling” a plus.

Educational Requirements:
1. BS in Engineering (preferred) or Business related technical background from an accredited institution
2. MBA a plus

Required Skills:
1. Good communication and presentation skill
2. Fluent in English, both in writing and speaking
3. Ability of multi-tasking and prioritizing to achieve best possible outcome
4. Proficient in using power point and Excel as tool
