Scope of Job:
This position is responsible for Implement project sourcing procedure to meet project target cost, timing and quality requirement.
Lead cost reduction activity for purchasing parts.
Maintain supplier chain safety to fulfill operation target and support R&D, manufacturing, logistics and quality dept.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead purchasing activities of RFQ project according to requirements in schedule, cost and quality.
2. Lead purchasing activities of award project according to requirements in schedule, cost and quality.
3. Coordinate with project team to meet requests from project team.
4. Ensure the hand-over of a project from MTC to plant.
5. Follow up VAVE projects according to the commodity strategy and quality target (incl. localization, resource etc.)
6. Setup and implement supplier/commodity strategy for the responsible commodity. Coordinate the related works with regional and global function/dept.
7. Support to global sourcing RFQ and supplier development.
8. Support to SQE to develop current supplier bases performance.
9. Support to solve special supplier related issue in delivery, quality, service, etc.
10. Continuous Improvement on supplier performance
11. Individual tasks from the Superior


Requirement

1. Bachelor degree
2. Purchasing knowledge of advanced purchasing, supplier audit/control and project management.
3. Knowledge of product development, manufacture processes.
4. Knowledge of VDA, TS 16949 quality system and concerning procedure, such as APQP, FMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC.
5. Familiar with automotive industry, 5 year working experience, >3 years working experience in TIER1 or TIER2
6. Abundant experience in project management.
7. Experience of certain material commodity, such as plastics & elastomers, metals, filter medias and assemblies
8. Excellent English both in oral and written. Prefer understand Japanese/ German (basic level).
9. Computer skills (MS Office, Lotus Notes. Understand engineering drawing requirement. Prefer be able to work with CAD or UG/Pro-E/Catia. Good data maintenance skill (can deal with > 500 part number),
10. Good negotiation and communication skill.
11. Strong sense of self motivation and responsibility.
12. Logic thinking, target approaching; be able to take pressure
13. Cross-function team cooperation ability (team work with project team, different BU plant…)
