Job Responsibilities

The main responsbility of this position includes but not limits to the following
1 Lead team to support HQ to implement and monitor whole fabric procedure from new development to bulk production.
2 Suppliers sourcing - Recommend new fabric suppliers which is suitable for SM business requirement, if HQ need to strong up fabric supplier base. Make seasonal factory auditing schedule for fabric team. Auditing key supplier's factory together with fabric QC, analyze new supplier from all aspects and provide report to HQ for valuable reference to make decision.
3 New fabric sourcing - Manage seasonal new fabric hanger collection and sift to send to HQ by deadline. Over 90% sourcing rate according to HQ proto should be finished by seasonal calendar date. Build up fabric library and do renewal in time by season.
4 Business trips - to arrange and optimize in terms of budget and schedule for regular business trips of HQ Material Managers. Distribute roles of the team travelling. Actively participate in negotiations.Monitor team's business trip repoprt.
5 Fabric qulity standard set up - Lead team to collect seasonal fabric color and quality standard from HQ. Make sure each fabric already has approved L/D and quality standard before 2nd forecast is issued.
6 1st bulk lot approval- Manage team to implement 1st bulk lot approval procedure. Coordinate with color and testing team to speed up 1st bulk lot final approval by the time before PPC. consolidate and make summary weekly status to Material Managers both in SHO and HQ. Make commercial decision if it's rejected and has potential bulk delay according to the SOP escalation.
7 Bulk quality issue resolution- Help fabric merchandiser to get invlove any fabric bulk quality issue from GS or internally from QC and garment merchandising team. Coordinate with color and testing team if necessary to have resolution. Commercial decision may need to be taken to keep garment delivery.Make seasonal quality issue summary report to Material Manager in SHO.
8 Supplier performance assessment- Lead team to do supplier SWOT. Make alignment with color/testing/QC team to do seasonal fabric suppliers performance assessment after bulk production delivery finished. Do cross assessment with top 10 garment suppliers.
9 Supplier training- Training new supplier about SM material procedure. Keep on training existing fabric supplier to upgrade their internal quality control concept and system.
10 Team management - Build up necessary document record, update folders with swatches for SMS and approved 1st bulk cuttings. Help HQ to update material procedure. Organize team weekly meeting and cross team meeting with garment merchandising team.

Qualifications:

1 Language Abilities Good written English ability, fluent oral English .
2 Computer Skills Skillful with MS office software. Familiar with MRP/ERP/PDM is prior.
3 Working Experience above 8 years of related working experience, Know well about sports/outdoor fabric manufacturing and development procedure. 3 years experience merchandising team management in trading or buying office is prior.
4 Education & Training college or above degree
