Job Title: Business Analysis Manager

Reports to: (job title): IT Director, R&D in China

Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities:

- Integrate RDC business IT needs with global IT strategies, standard and solutions, work with central R&D IT, EIS and AS to provide appropriate IT solutions and support for RDC users

- Contribute for the development and implementation of the IT strategy for RDC

- Business partnering and analysis

- Central IT services engagement

- Local IT service operation management

Accountability:

- Business Partnering:Business engagement, consultancy, communication, training, issue escalation

- Business Analysis:Analysis of IT requirement from RDC; Support/Lead for global IT projects for RDC;Lead/Support regional/local IT projects for RDC

- Central IT services engagement:Represent RDC to central IT services, raise the awareness of central IT to address the specific IT issues for RDC; Engaging experts across GSK to consult on broad range of IT needs to RDC business; Partner with global / regional support and delivery teams to continually enhance and improve the IT service for RDC users; Drive the adoption of standard IT solutions for RDC

- Local IT service Operation management: Work with central EIS for the daily operation for local IT infrastructure; Management for the onsite IT helpdesk and conference support service; Lab IT support

Basic Requirements:

- Proven customer partnering and engagement experiences, influencing skills

- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills

- Experience in collecting, defining, and documenting business requirements for complex IT projects

- Experience in identifying and documenting business process changes

- Experience in building business cases and managing business benefits for projects

- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry

- Knowledge of IT processes

- Ability to work independently

- Good Spoken and written English

- BA/BS in science, computer science or electronic engineering

- At least 8 years working experience in the relevant field is required

Preferred Requirements:

- Experience working in an international team

- Experience in process improvement analysis and methodologies, preferably Lean Sigma or Six Sigma

- Experience implementing complex IT solutions

- Experience in pharma R&D Systems

- Experience in facilitating workshops

- Good knowledge and experience with IT infrastructure and service desk management
