Role Summary/Purpose
This is a technical role but is also a very broad and dynamic role with overall responsibility for supporting the development of PII Partners in technical execution of ILI Inspections within China
Providing local support for ensuring certification in Magnetics and Geometry Inspections with a view to each partner being self-sufficient in executing these technologies.

Essential Responsibilities
• Drive Partner Certification schedule and development in line with training plans
• Utilise Partners resources for execution of ILI inspections in conjuction with PII appropriate resources to support regional workload.
• Working with the Regional team to ensure optimum utilization of Partner Resources and assets.
• Ensure assets are in a ready to serve condition
• Support routine and preventative Maintenance activities in line with scheduled demand
• Part of Local team ensuring that the equipment reliability and performance is consistently high. Aiming to continually raise the PII/Partner first run success rate to Industry leading standards.
• Maintain the highest level of EHS compliance throughout the workplace.
• Operate within the ethos of ISO 9000:2000 for demonstrable competence and continuous improvement
• Create open and regular communication channels with colleagues working in the operational regions of PII.
• Manage and develop a highly skilled cohesive and flexible team
• Apply the process and tools of six sigma to make business cases and take decisions based on data
• Track through Partner database the asset modification status and asset build
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Day-to-day production management of Partner manpower resources.
• Ensure all active equipment is in date for all calibration and regulatory certification
• Develop production programs and processes that maximize the utilization of manpower and assets.
• Improve efficiency between PII/Partner and drive cost effectiveness.
• Ensuring personnel are trained in line with PII technical and EHS standards

Key Outputs:
• Allocation of equipment at the module level ensuring that the appropriate equipment is serviceable and available at the required date
• Achievement of project deadlines
• Identification of risks and managing those in conjunction with the relevant PII/Partner Project Manager.
• Continuous improvement of service quality, as measured by customer satisfaction responses and first time run success.
• I&I, DAFW near miss reports at or better than targeted levels.
• Management of local inventory and setting min/max levels for forecast run volume with Partner.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Culturally aware
• Engineering qualification (HNC) or equivalent
• Experience in a similar role advantageous, with well-developed team management skills
• Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization, and able to enthuse and influence others
