RESPONSIBILITIES & ROUTINES
· Review cosmetic related documents such as INCI, PI files and similar.
· Follow H&M Chemical Requirements and chemical test routines.
· Initiate and follow up external lab tests.
· Update and follow up “chemical fail list” and make sure all products from suppliers appearing on that list are tested.
· Use H&M follow up system, OFS, for all registration and follow up of tests.
· Constant update and follow up on cosmetic products innovation and development worldwide.
· Provide education to vendors and internal teams.
· Keep the lab equipment in good condition.
COOPERATION WITH H&M COSMETIC CHEMICAL RESPONSIBLE AND OTHER PO’S
· Keep a close cooperation with H&M Cosmetic Chemical Responsible at SEBO and update them on:
* local projects
* possible new ways to solve/avoid previous problems
* purchase of testing equipment (align with head office on/if expensive investments)
· Keep close contact with other PO working with cosmetic in order to share experience and learn from each other.
COOPERATION WITH INTERNAL TEAMS
· Work closely with cosmetic merchandising team to analyze potential quality problems early/in development stage, support and follow up on new products development.
· Support merchandising team to solve quality problems which might occur during order follow up.
· Inform all concerned in case there are changes in H&M Chemical restrictions.
· Cooperate closely with quality teams (QA/QC/TECH) and ensure good communication flow.
· Support CSR auditors concerning chemical issues.
· Support sourcing team to evaluate new cosmetic suppliers.
COOPERATION WITH EXTERNAL PARTIES
· Communicate and cooperate with external labs.
· Communicate and cooperate with chemical companies and make new external contacts necessary to solve problems.
· Monitor lead times, tests and prices.
COOPERATION WITH H&M SUPPLIERS
· Inform, educate and support suppliers on how to comply with H&M Chemical Restrictions.
· Make chemical audits of cosmetic production units and subcontractors such as packaging, cosmetic tools and similar.
· Evaluate supplier’s performance and proactively follow up on supplier’s development, action plans and deadlines and general performance.
