1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Summary – (Role Summary)
With the guidance and supervision of the Manager; provide sales assistance and direction to assigned hotels within a specific market segment to include: generating and tracking bookings, compilation of internal and external sales reports, serving as a liaison with clients and hotels, project coordination, , liaison with internal departments, and facilitating booking service adoption.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (Key Activities)
- Serve as primary point person for the Company to designated hotels within a specific market segment. Respond to the needs of designated hotels in researching service opportunities and presenting appropriate strategies to meet their stated business requirements. Initiate follow-up calls and coordinate successful relationship management with hotels.
- Help guide individual hotels in call divert process, in order to assist hotels in maximizing revenues while meeting Voice Service’s needs.
- Handle and implement action plans for hotels to successfully adopt Voice Services. Communicate status of pending issues to hotels. Ensure the distribution of monthly booking reports.
- Initiate and complete own system for lead dissemination, tracking and filing.
- Coordinate reports and Voice Services data as needed.
- Attend required training meetings as required by market segment, workshops, tradeshows, conferences, etc.
- Coordinate market segment sales projects as required or requested. Coordinate needs of market segment client promotional activities and project needs. Interface and coordinate project efforts with other Company Departments.
· Must be able to achieve Voice Services and team adoption goals as assigned.
2. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education –
Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree and work-related experience.
Experience –
2-3 years progressive hotel reservation or revenue work-related experience within a global brand hotel group, or similar environment, with demonstrated proficiency and understanding of one or more functions related to the position.
Technical Skills and Knowledge –
- Demonstrated clear, concise and succinct communication skills, including adapting both verbal and written communication to the needs and level of user. Demonstrated ability to communicate supportive program details (presentation, analysis) to present a persuasive argument or to effectively negotiate a sales position.
- Demonstrated time management skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks/clients required.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and move from one task to another rapidly
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with hotels. Ability to interact on a professional level with management and clients.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a consistent, high quality customer-focused orientation, including providing clear, accurate information; explaining procedures or materials or providing supplemental information; anticipating problems or questions.
- Knowledge and use of computers, databases and websites to accurately input, monitor, and extract information quickly and effectively
- Demonstrated basic analytical skills and ability to use the results of analysis to make decisions.
- Works effectively with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated skills in Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Mail, and PowerPoint.
Decision making responsibilities (Key Decision Rights)
· This position maintains existing relationships with hotels in an assigned market segment and makes decisions on how best to meet hotel needs using existing structures, group reservation programs, and sales initiatives directed by the market segment.

Internal Key Relationships
Hotel Corporate Office/Departments: building collaborative partnerships, relationships and networks with these teams to deliver great business outcomes for company hotels (managed and franchised) and learn about needs of hotels and new initiatives within the market
External Key Relationships
Manage relationship with assigned hotels
4. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Majority of work is performed in a normal office environment.
Travel as needed less than 40% of time.
