Job Scope:
1. Will be responsible in the development, sourcing and ensuring the quality and integrity of bags and accessories that are produced and shipped out are in conformance with the standards.
2. He/she will do as product costing and coordinate price confirmation to his/her immediate superior, download and tracking of samples status and production PO.
3. Production process control as well as materials and in-process Quality Assurance control.
4. Finished goods final inspection to ensure quality conformance to standard.
5. Production order status monitoring and tracking finished goods shipment.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Facilitate and discuss each seasons’ project pullover till’ projects’ Salesman sample stage of bags and accessories.
- Review the specs sheet against the design package with the factory and clear any discrepancy with the Asia PDM before issuance to concerned departments.
- Follow up and provide a weekly status report to the PDM with regards to the ETC of the pullovers, sample material, b/p, woodmolds and other requests.
- Track down, review and pre-confirm material swatch bookand bags sample before submitting Asia PDM for final approval.
- Review factory Costing and CBS before submitting price confirmation to Asia PDM.
- Randomly inspect the samples while on-process to make sure it conforms to the material specification to avoid any mistakes in assembling wrong components.
- Do a 100% final inspection of samples to ensure it conforms to Decker’s Quality standards, design sketches and material specification before sending samples to US HQ.
- Follow up material and component physical test report and submit results to Asia PDM.
- Review material with supplier and discuss MOQ, limitations, leadtime and tech issues. Provide MOQ list to planning and Asia PDM.
- Quality inspection of samples and production.
- Responsible for the development of new materials and components and to establish material and components physical properties standards.
- Ensure that all samples are delivered according to the request dates and specification.
- Periodically inspect and evaluate sample room, library, material warehouse to make sure it is conforms to the standards mandated by Deckers.
- Regularly conducts materials, process, and quality audits in production workshops to ensure that appropriate processes, QC tollgates and process controls are properly implemented and that critical quality issues are immediately addressed .

Education/Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in bags manufacturing
- 2 years in college or language school
- Wide knowledge in bags and accesories development and production
- Basic knowledge in bag materials and components
- Basic knowledge in costing.
