Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

- Technical supports to drive Greater China Retail Sales growth of Lighting application and products.
- Provide Simulation and Proposals for projects of lighting design and fixture application, as well as energy payback according to customer’s requirements
- Lead technical discussions/communication for projects and drive the cross function team to a solution
- Contact with design Institutions/ engineering company and customer engineers on technology, promote GE products and build the spec-in
- Build long term relationship with key account and help customer on lighting design and standardization by promoting GE lighting product portfolio
- Own the technical part for bidding proposal development
- Contact design Institutions/ engineering company to communicate on the technology, promoting products/ system and making spec-in for preference
- Provide field supports on product application as supervisions of instillation and test
- Provide technical training to sales team and customer and conduct technical seminar; help product management team for gaps, comparisons and new products.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor degree in Lighting Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related
At least 5 years experience in lighting design and engineering, LED application preferred
Familiar with lighting design skills, master lighting design tools similar to Dialux, and AGI

Desired Characteristics

Ability to communicate in verbal English. Fluent in written English.
Have initiative, energetic, hard working competencies and good team work skills
