Summary:
This position will report to the Regional Quality Assurance Manager for the Asia and will be based in the Hershey Shanghai office. This position will assist in the administration of Integrated consumer service center and will be responsible for preparation of consumer complaint trends and preparation of data analysis reports.

The position will be responsible for reviewing city distributors’ warehouse quality audit results and conduct audit for the key distributors’ warehouse. Communicate with sales and the distributors for the audit result and needed improvement.

This position will be responsible for generate correct label information for china new products made at the China JV, as well as for ingredient screen for the CW imported products and prepare the appropriate product information to CIQ label approval.

Represent the quality function in the packaging/label approval process for China.

Minimal travel (10%) may be required

Major Duties/Responsibilities:
1. New Product Support:
Develop and submit label information and supporting documentation to CIQ / government authority, distributors and customer upon inquiry.
Label reviews for new products, including China and north Asia markets
Ingredient screens for imported products to China and to north Asia markets markets
Ship samples of product to various customers such as R&D, QRC, International Marketing.
2. Technical support – Continuous Improvement:
Compile consumer and customer complaint reports for monthly submission to Sr. QA Manager – Asia Region. Provide trend analysis for consumer complaints, customer complaints. Track progress of continuous improvement projects and provide monthly report.
3. Distributors’ warehouse audits
Review city distributors’ warehouse quality audit results and conduct analysis to correlate with the consumer complaint data. Conduct audit for the key distributors’ warehouse.
4. QA systems
Update document management and SAP RM systems as appropriate to assure current specifications and other quality information is accessible.
5. Supplier Quality
Maintain workbook of approved vendors for Asia.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:
? Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
? Must have strong computer skills and be proficient in desktop software packages MS Word, Excess, Access and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP preferred.

Competencies:
? BS degree in Food Science or related field.
? 2+ yrs equivalent related experience in food manufacturing/quality environment
? Good communication skills both written and verbal.
? Good organization skills.
? Self-motivated and self-starting.
