PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Lead and coordinate the Application Engineering for Maxima Technologies in China;
2. Evaluate customer requirements for standard and custom vehicle instrumentation, select and recommend products, develop and maintain documentation, troubleshoot problems, train customer personnel, identify new opportunities that can be turned into sales prospects;
3. Application Engineer Leader may be get involved deeply in the new product design projects and Maxima production engineering in China;
4. Application Engineer Leader will serve as liaison between the customer and Maxima, provide support for specific projects and assist with planning and implementation;

5. Applications Engineer Leader will have a strong working relationship with the sales team and other engineers globally.



Education background/Qualifications:
B.S. degree in electronic/electrical engineering, preferably electronics, is required.


Working experience:
1. 7+ years experience in Electronics and / or Automotive company. Preferably as R&D Engineer, Product Engineer or Application Engineer;
2. Experience in designing or testing or manufacturing vehicle instrumentation or instrument clusters is desirable.


Skills:
1. Technical background, with several years of electronic product development preferably (not mandatory) in automotive;
2. Ability to work independently but also as a part of an international team;
3. Team and Project Management;
4. Good presentation skills;
5. Must be bilingual: Chinese and English is mandatory;
6. Must be motivated, energetic, technical, self-directed and organized with excellent communications skills-verbal and written-capable of working in a team environment for a growing, progressive, process-oriented enterprise;
7. Okay for business trips often and work on-site with clients.



Job Location: Taicang

(Daily shuttle buses are offered to commute from Shanghai/Suzhou to Taicang)
