Role Summary/Purpose
This role will have Strategic and Operational responsibilities for the definition and delivery of Corporate IT services in the region. This will include support for implementing Global Tool/Process to facilitate application, Change & Operation. i.e. ServiceNow, CMDB, IT Risk review process and/or Global Application Tech Stack etc., Shared Services, SSS (Shared Sourcing Systems – an Oracle based global Sourcing system/process) & Collaboration tools (for GE internal communication/info sharing).

Essential Responsibilities
This will require closely working with the Regional Leadership team, and the owners of the Global applications, which form the basis of the strategy. Working closely with regional business & IT leaders, and Global teams, lead the definition and execution of the region’s IT strategy to support requirements and growth within the region • Establish and maintain a high level of business alignment and confidence in the IT team's knowledge, and concern for, strategic business issues • Develop integrated solutions for business problems that require ingenuity and innovation. Proactively identify improvements within Collaboration processes & recommend digitization/simplification opportunities • Effectively manage significant change within a matrix organization providing leadership to ensure achievement of goals and initiatives • Implement technology standards to ensure compatibility and integration throughout the region and in compliance with GE technology standards in application and data • Provide expertise in technology processes and domain knowledge in specific IT areas • Provide overall management, technical and financial direction for regional and few cross region level IT projects. • Create and sustain understanding of business processes within the IT organization and the technologies deployed to enable the business processes • Lead the deployment of GE Corporate IT strategic imperatives, particularly in the area of Shared services, SSS & and Collaboration tools • Provide overall leadership, development and motivation to the various CIS team members in the region • Understand GE business growth plans in the region; Lead the development of cultural understanding in depth understanding of IT regulatory framework in the region • Lead the Identification of opportunities to share best practices and reuse solutions from other regions, GE businesses and external businesses

Qualifications/Requirements
• 10+ years’ application development and/or implementation experience in a multinational company. Understand Oracle and/or SAP system preferred. • Ability to learn complex systems and business processes and define requirements for solutions • Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management • Demonstrated capability to work in cross functional leadership team • Prior experience with process quality methodology, Agile or other methodologies • Demonstrated high competency in project management (including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication) and the execution of multiple projects • High competency in applications delivery; competency in infrastructure planning, deployment and end user support • Ability to deliver complex requirements and to excel in a global matrix organization

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science • Six Sigma BB/MBB • ERP applications knowledge • Matrix organization skills / ability to motivate multiple groups to maintain collaboration • Ability to influence and gain commitment at all organizational levels • Project Management (PMI) certifications • High energy, customer passion & attention to detail • Leadership training program experience (ITLP, OMLP, FMP) is preferred (GE employees only)
