Main Responsibilities:
? Responsible for the implementation of Operational Excellence at plants and sites in a selected sub-region in Asia-Pacific area (e.g. China, Japan, South-Korea, India, New Zealand, Australia, ASEAN).
? Entail the operational implementation of agreed measures.
? Drive the process by giving training or leading workshops about LEAN principles.
? Work with all levels of BASF local teams and experts, technology units and competence centers.
? Regularly follow up the implementation status and trigger the appropriate countermeasures to achieve sustainable improvement.

Requirements:
Education: bachelor degree or above with major in Engineering, Science.
Working Experience:
1. International experiences preferred, notably in field of implementing measures for introducing and developing Operational Excellence in an industrial environment.
2. Solid experience in using change management methods, consultant experience will be a plus.
3. More than 5 years plant/operation management experience is preferred
Technical & Professional Knowledge:
Core skills:
1. Proficient command of verbal and written English skills mandatory;
2. Proficiency in computer skills such as MS Project, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications;
3. Good understanding of relevant production locations and technologies and business requirements;
4. Good interpersonal, time management skills with ability to interact in a multi-national and multiple hierarchical levels in Asia Pacific;
5. Good analytical skill & problem solving approach.
Job related preferable skills: negotiation skills preferable.
Job selected skills: skilled in chemical engineering will be an advantage.
