Position Description:
- Global Service and Support focal point for Lenovo's ThinkPad Product Group
- Disseminate information regarding Lenovo's ThinkPad offerings and Diagnostic strategy to regional Service & Support teams and create Service & Support plans/procedures for handling Lenovo's ThinkPad products and overall Diagnostic tools.
Areas include, but are not limited to;
Training plans and schedules
Internal and external communication plans for e-support
Diagnostic policies as it pertains to Service & Support
Knowledge management
- Represent issues and concerns of regional service teams regarding all commercial notebook decisions including contract terms with ODM/OEM vendors and cost benefit/impact
- Manage overall launch readiness of commercial notebook offerings for our regional service teams
- Post launch product analysis
Review of Lenovo and competition product serviceability
Review best design for service practice with ODMs
- Diagnostic strategy focal point Global Service Readiness team
- Department focal point for design for service on commercial notebook and workstation products

Position Requirements:
1.Bachelor's degree or above (2/4 yr degree or equivalent in computer field or business )
2.More than 5 years work experience
- Knowledge of Product Development and Lifecycle process (concentration on hardware and diagnostics)
- 5yrs experience in computer service / field support or related area
- Project Management experience and coursework (certification desired, but not required)
- Excellent Communication skills
- Knowledge of global warranty, service and support operations (strong call center and field service focus)
- Strong familiarity with Lenovo’s hardware portfolio and current diagnostic solution
3. Drive to achieve, Teaming and collaboration ability and Excellent Project management ability
