AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Daily Operation Management
Responsible for the mill operations group covering production, maintenance, technology and utilities
Achieve the target KPIs setup in the annual operations plan
Resolve production issues raised by customer complains
Acts as the General manager in his/her absence to ensure smooth running of routine Company activities
- Production
Monitor and control the EHS, product quality, volume and cost performance of the production activities in the viscose, spinning, spin bath, CS2 recovery, water supply, waste water treatment and steam/power generation units to meet the KPIs of the annual operations plan.
Enforce operational discipline on adherence to standard operating conditions (SOCs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) of the manufacturing process.
- Maintenance
Monitor and control the EHS, preventive and predictive maintenance schedule completion, equipment repair quality and efficiency, and cost of the maintenance group to meet the KPIs of the annual operations plan.
Review and upgrade maintenance plan to improve the overall reliability and maintenance cost of the asset.
- Technical
Effectively troubleshoot process upset in a systematic manner, engaging the R&D team when needed.
Commercialize new products developed by R&D team
Review and upgrade the SOCs and SOPs to improve EHS, product quality, volume and cost performance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Engineering or Science bachelor degree or above.;
- Experience: 10+ years process industry operations experience (with at least 5 years in management operations role); viscose manufacturing experience preferred
Business Knowledge/Special Skills
- Knowledgeable about what drives good operation; preferably familiar with 6 sigma, lean manufacturing and other operations improvement systems
- Analytical, logical and good economics thinker;
- Good people management, leadership and communication skills
- Viscose fiber manufacturing experience preferred
Language
- Good in English and fluent in Mandarin
