Position Description:
1. Duties from conceptional and detail design of monochrome laser printers (including ADFs and scanners) to building prototypes, performing evaluation and follow mass production.
2. Design new products and bring them to production by taking advantage of own experience, knowledge, ability and existing technologies, maintaining product targets for quality, cost and schedule.

Position Requirements:
Experience：
1. Experience in design of laser or inkjet printers for 5 plus years and experience in support of bringing 3 or more models to mass-production
2. Experience in programming using the language C or C++ for design tasks regarding laser or inkjet printers
3. Experience in software design for the control of paper feed and paper conveyance in laser or inkjet printers
4. Experience in design of software for communication control of laser or inkjet printers
5. Experience In design of software for electrophotographic process control of laser printers
6. Experience in measurement of electric signal waves using an oscilloscope
7. Experience in analysis of communication data using a protocol analyzer
Knowledge：
1. Fundamental knowledge of laser or inkjet printers
2. Fundamental knowledge of software engineering
3. Fundamental knowledge regaling electronic circuits
4. Fundamental knowledge regarding electronic parts(types of motors and sensors)
5. Fundamental knowledge in project management
Abilities:
1. Ability to be friendly and proactive in conversations within the team and with partner organizations
2. Ability to be decisive and think in dependently to achieve goals by implementing flexible and prompt action
3. Ability to act team-oriented with a cooperative attitude and show a respectful behavior towards partner-or related organizations
4. Ability to analyze problems, and explains in a simple and clear way the investigation of the cause, the occurring mechanism as well as counter measures
5. Ability to design with a high awareness towards cost to achieve low-cost targets
6. Japanese language is a plus
