Position Description:
1.Construct and create “costed” bill-of-material from motherboard
2.Identify cost reduction opportunities on motherboard that will yield cost savings for current and future Lenovo products
3.Maintain and update the motherboard component cost within TEC database.
4.Spec and cost survey for new component and technology.

Position Requirements:
1.BS/BA (or higher) in CE, EE or equivalent studies
2.2 years in primary skill or industry
3.Knowledge of PC motherboards, assembly and their components.
4.Knowledge of chipsets, processors, memories, system buses and PC related peripherals. Ability to read schematics and PCB data sheets.
5.Knowledge of the PC mechanical and commodities
6.Experience of cost estimating.
7.Ability to identify cost avoidance and cost reduction opportunities through design for cost changes and supplier negotiations.
8.Documenting results of cost avoidance and cost reductions achieved.
9.Strong team player – both internal and with cross-functional teams including Development, Procurement and Cost Managers.
10.English communication skills.
