• Manage and drive implementation of foodservice projects, currently focus on Chinese/Western Sauce.
• Manage and own NPD projects within product responsibility from ideation to completion, responsible for raw material screening, recipe design, process development, sensory identification, trial, stability test. etc.
• Carry out industry research and develop solutions that fulfill the needs of foodservice products.
• Initiate test plan with success criteria, align with cross tech functions, lead the test and or trial with test/trial report as output.
• Develop & own technical documentation, including raw material spec, process spec, recipe, finished goods spec
• Work with cross-function teams to ensure that product and process have met initial quality assurance, safety and risk assessment requirements
• Collaborate with externals parties to deliver NPDs, including but not limit to suppliers, analytical centers, copackers, universities
• Demonstrated ability to work in development, co-development and turn key projects with external partners from concept to commercialization
• Participate in the development of new product ideas and opportunities

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor or above, majored in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or relevant subjects
• Minimum 2 years working experience in food industry with experience in new product development, with Chinese/Western Sauce experience preferred
• Basic cooking knowledge & chef understanding
• Knowledge of product development and scale up
• Effective communication and presentation skill with good command of English
• Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, independently and cross-functionally
• Strong sense of responsibility, be fond of accepting new challenge
