Department: Global procurement

Position: Sourcing engineer (Global procurement), the first 6 months in Masterbatch.

Reports to: Manager, Global procurement

Location: Shenzhen, China

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate the troubleshooting interface between the Asia-Pacific manufacturing locations, the TW MB centers and the selected suppliers.
• Centralize all formulations and share the formulations of developed colors to other Tupperware Masterbatch Centers under existing NDA terms. The Masterbatch Area Coordinator will have to act as interface between the Asia-Pacific masterbatch suppliers and other Tupperware Masterbatch Centers for troubleshooting assistance.
• Demonstrate expertise in the engagement and utilization of procurement tools including RFx's, contracting and scorecards/reports/communications, etc.
• Collaborate with RnD department in proposing new applications using special effect masterbatches from the current masterbatch suppliers. He/she will have to continuously scan the market for new developments and opportunities in the masterbatch manufacturing and propose those developments to RnD and Marketing Color Specialists for evaluation.
• Make sure all masterbatch references are being tested for performance, evaluated and approved by Quality Assurance and Analytical Lab for regulatory compliance (published in REMIS) prior to initiating any orders for industrial trial or commercialization.
• Be responsible for the assignation of color codes WW, the creation of JDE codes for each masterbatch in line with the Tupperware global codification system.
• Be conducted with respect to Tupperware policies, values and guiding principles.

To develop, maintain and report a Masterbatch scorecard:

- Service: # of service issues due to MB / Delivery on time

- Quality: # Number of Quality issues due to MB / Speed of solving issue

- Cost: MB Stock in value & weight

- Innovation: Number of new technology identified / Tested / Validated / Number of QIP

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• University Degree in Industrial Engineering or other relevant degrees for planning and process optimization.

• Maximum 5 years' experience in industrial environment in Procurement or planning functions or proven performance in a project involving intense planning activities.

• Fluency in English is necessary.
