Position Description:
Responsible for local ODM/CM materials management. Position is the prime interface to Lenovo’s CM for materials management, including
supply pull in, push out escalations, supply allocation, DOI management for imported and local materials, as well as interface to Business
planning team. Leadership and teamwork, as well as personal experience, to solve complex, unexpected problems based on information
from several sources of information (both internal and external)

Position Requirements:
1. Assure availability of raw material at CM/ODM site in order to allow them delivery forecasted machines.
This contains:
1) short term: shortage list management with CM/ODM; escalations on logistics and pull in Material from original supplier; rebalance drive
to cover urgent needs (from other Lenovo plant); allocation request to china team.
develop and control level of DOI target for parts (at PN# level for BTO business) or kits (for BTP business)
2) Responsible for T2 supplier forecast: assure CM sent and get commitment for total forecast horizon. Based on that, GSM need to take
actions that CM can not solve, as escalation point to solve
2. Manage 13 weeks commitment with CM, based and supported by Materials position.
3. EOL management at CM/ODM, in a way to end up with family without or with minimum materials surplus.
E&O parts mitigation before material reach country, including VMI strategies, negotiation to divert material to other Geos, etc.
4. Optimize current GSC materials management processes: develop and implement project plans to support process improvement initiatives.
5. Assist Procurement organization with special assignments as required.
