Role Summary/Purpose

The Senior Risk Analyst demonstrates leadership & expertise in achieving execution excellence to optimize contract profitability. In this role, you will utilize your operations, technical & financial experience and expertise to develop and execute strategies geared towards maximizing profitability through execution excellence, and drive short-term and long-term business goals. This role is a perfect bridge between finance and operations.

Essential Responsibilities

Provide analytical, process expertise, and financial / business trade-offs to proactively maximize the economic outcome of every field execution event (maximize bonuses, minimize LDs, minimize total cost). Work closely with the region operational teams as well as productivity teams during outage pre-planning to ensure the contract profitability is maximize. Work across PGS and other GE organizations to develop the most accurate financial assumptions & drive optimal execution. Develop scenario / sensitivity analysis for the most critical variables in field execution (overall outage length and cost, as well as thermal, availability, reliability, outage duration bonus / LDs) Communicate key learning’s across the field organization and work closely with the risk international team to communicate and share best practices. Consistently drive a Cost and Execution management culture within the organization and bring visibility to where the risk lies (modeling, execution, parts/repairs/outages execution vs. modeling , etc) Review with senior management within PGS and other GE organization analytical results and mitigation plans to achieve the financial and business objectives

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college Minimum 3 years of experience in a gas Turbine Operation field and/or finance Desired Characteristics - Internal * Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Engineering is preferred Preferred backgrounds include Field operations (Field engineers, CPMs), Finance / Financial Management Program (FMP), Corporate Audit Staff Ability to support a field execution function, with good technical & financial background Strong analytical and presentation skills Strong organizational skills Ability to influence others in a highly matrixed environment Ability to prioritize and balance workload to meet deadlines Ability to work independently with high level of accuracy Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Strong business acumen
