Mission:

Provide algorithm development, and expertise on big data related topics to the innovation product/solution development, and act as an initiative leader for data-driven related initiatives.

Key Expected Achievements:

-       Work closely with initiative leaders to establish, implement and improve data support systems for data monitoring, operational analysis, data collaboration, etc. for innovative product/solution development.

-       Apply advanced statistical modelling, data mining, and machine learning methods to build data models to solve practical problems and develop innovative methods to solve problems that conventional algorithms cannot solve.

-       Based on massive data and computing platforms, use machine learning algorithms to mine business data values while doing data architecture based on business shape

-       Optimize business processes and decision optimization with data and algorithms to improve business efficiency and user experience

-       Build high-quality features and build a complete system of features based on business-based understanding and application of algorithms

-       Communicate with business units to apply data models of innovative solutions to real businesses

Key Qualities required:

-       Strong Knowledge and experience in statistical, data mining and machine learning techniques

-       Proficiency in using Python and data science related libraries: pandas, numpy, scipy, scikitlearn, pytorch etc.

-       Experience in data analysis strategy design and building up data pipeline accordingly

-       Knowledge querying databases: SQL, MongoDB etc.

-       Expertise in data visualization on industry data

-       Good team worker and communication

Qualification:

-       Master or above in Statistics/Computer Science/Engineering/Operations Research/Applied Mathematics.

-       5 - 10 years’ data science experience

-       Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development

-       Good English communication in written and oral
