Position Description:
Job Profile and Responsibility :
Based in Beijing, the senior manager or director of strategic tech. alliance will be a key member of department, who is responsible for:

1. Plan, operate and business develop Lenovo global top strategic partnerships and new partners from eco-system
2. External innovation: build up strong network and relationship with industrial new partners, start ups, VC, universities and research institute for harness external innovation.
3. strategic M&A and investment: work on certain strategic M&A and venture investment to acquire external new biz or new technology company
4. External technology intelligence : strong technology intelligence of emerging new knowledge, and insights to the R&T leadership team. Research and track industry trends; advise executive management on key new opportunities and developments that may affect long-term strategies.

Position Requirements:
Qualifications:
1. have MS or PHD degree study experience in United States, PHD or MS in computer or engineering discipline (PhD preferred)
2. Have strategic alliance, partnership, BD or consulting working experience, have a proven track record of leading similarly-scoped alliance or BD team in a multinational company before
3. Strong strategy insight of IT industry in computer, mobile internet , internet service or digital home areas.
4. strong leadership and project management ability to work cross-functionally with multiple global teams.
5. Strong business development capability. Have strong hi-tech. relationship and network in China
6. Strong close deal capability: good personal character of influential others and good at communication to get deal close and set up win-win cooperation models
7. Proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese in professional settings.
8. On-the-ground work experience in both China and North America / Western Europe.
