Principal Accountabilities :

Ensure the performance of the purchase of Capex equipment for Michelin China plants and Michelin Group, in accordance with the defined procedures and the Michelin purchasing principles.

Contribute to the sourcing strategy and to creating value for the company in collaboration with the global Purchasing category manager. The employment of Capex Buyer acts in a strategic and tactical way on China perimeter.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Key activities:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

1) Purchase of capex equipment (Material Handling System in workshop, quality control equipment, Lab equipment):

Apply the purchasing strategy defined with the category manager in China.

Identify the short and medium-term requirements with the category manager and define the tactics of purchase; makes calls for tenders, negotiate and conclude contracts with the suppliers, while creating added value.

Ensure the supply of goods and services; carry out the TCO studies giving the company a competitive advantage.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                

2) Customer relations: manage the relationship with internal client. Define with the customer the cost and quality indicators.                                                                                                                                   

3) Supplier relations: Steer his/her supplier portfolio and the related contracts; Coordinate the SRM reviews and monitor the associated progress plans.

General knowledge of the purchasing process

Good commercial sense

Quick learner and willingness to learn

Qualifications:

Minim 3 years working experience in purchasing area

Bachelor or Master degree with strong academic performance
