Perfetti Van Melle - one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of confectionery and chewing gum with global brands that are being enjoyed in more than 150 countries worldwide - is seeking for a passionate and enthusiastic Regional Category Operation Manager-North. You will be required to establish PVM China as a world-class professional trade marketing team with effective category operation on daily basis; To support the regional sales team to execute robust annual commercial plan including activities / forecast / budget… to enable sales team for excellent field execution, win all the points of purchase and build amazing customer relationship; To leads local insight-based regional trade marketing plans for modern trade channels / customers that drive our business and competitive WS and distributor management programs to drive local trade development.and will be reporting to Trade Marketing Director.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• To lead implementation of annual commercial activity plan in north region and develop regionality program to make sure fully aligned with national strategy and guarantees strategic, commercial, channel, category and brand objectives are met.
• Work with both north region sales team and central trade marketing team (including central COM, CCM and SMM) to ensure fully delivery of monthly sales target via the seamless delivery of commercial activity from Marketing to Sales.
• Facilitate north region rolling 3-month sales forecast with both north SOP and central COM to make sure right NPD pipeline, promotional forecasting, customer stocking and volume target delivery.
• Manage the activity implementation process to ensure that all activity is communicated on time in a standard way to the sales team
• Support CMM (Channel Marketing Manager) to monitor regional distribution and in-store execution for continuous improvement
• Analyse field data either from the RTM partners or PG to assess promotional effectiveness

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree above , minimum 5 years of relevant experience 5+ years in Trade marketing, FMCG industry preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point
• Good learning agility, good at Sales / KA management
• Passionate with high level of commitment
• Communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional environment
• Adapted to the constantly changing working conditions
• Risk management sense and good business acumen
