GENERAL FUNCTION

Co-ordination of materials and components test programs, operation of WWW lab certification program, development of Garment test facilities and assisting in the day-to-day operation of the footwear laboratory.

PRIMARY DUTIES

1.Liaise with footwear PD teams to obtain materials and components list for new seasons.

2.Liaise with suppliers to obtain Physical Test and Restricted Substance reports.

3.Submit materials and components to footwear lab for testing as necessary to complete testing against WWW performance standards and for check testing of supplier's data.

4.Compile and maintain spreadsheets showing test status for each brand and organize reports/test data to enable effective cross-brand referencing.

5.Operate WWW lab certification scheme and aim to have all core factories and suppliers accredited.

6.Effectively and professionally manage your direct report(s).

7.Time allowing, assist the footwear lab manager with test registering, risk assessment and reporting.

8.Performs duties consistent with the company's AAP/EEO goals and policies.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

1. 3+ years experience in manufacturing.

2. Knowledge of laboratory operation (ISO 17025, test methods and machines, performance standards and risk assessment).

3. Good analytical and problem solving skills.

4. Good oral and written communication skills.

5. Computer literate, MS Office applications and MS Outlook
