Position Description:
This individual is responsible for all aspects of product management commercial software supporting our IdeaPad and IdeaCentre product lines. Responsibilities include creation of comprehensive marketing requirements documents, Geo/BU interaction and negotiation, market message creation, product positioning, pricing, competitive analysis, launch planning and execution for a global market. This individual will interactively work with IdeaPd and IdeaCentre BU to understand their unique needs for software support and then define product and drive them to market in support of those unique needs.
1.Own a product/ portfolio from inception to EOL; includes business case development; gathering market requirements; launch planning and execution;
2.Analysis of market trends customer segments and requirements, and competitive landscape to establish product positioning, pricing and delivery strategies.
3.Responsible for market message creation, sales tools and assist in Geography marketing and promotional programs.
4.This position requires the individual to be a part of an Offerings Development Team and work efficiently and effectively with Development, Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing and Finance team members to deliver a leadership offering on-time. Interactions will also take place with Vendors and Customers as required. A significant amount of time will be spent educating the Business Unit/Worldwide/Geography Marketing and Sales teams on the offering, competitive position and pricing. This individual should possess negotiation, strong written and oral communications skills, be a creative thinker and have the ability to present to Senior Management.

Position Requirements:
1.More than 5 years working experience in Software product management, R&D, project management and/or program management.
2.Experience in software marketing/development of a commercially available product.
