Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities
Business Management: 1. Development of business strategies for the Blowers & Compressors business in China, and execution of associated plans for accelerated growth and profitability. Management of key sales personnel and recruitment of expanded team. 2. Establishment of direct and indirect distribution channels in China to accelerate growth. Manage direct and indirect sales channels in concert with regional sales objectives and the annual strategic plan. Ensure that business is conducted ethically and in compliance with GE Code of Conduct. 3. Work closely with other F & PT businesses in China, exploiting potential synergies in channels, suppliers and facilities. 4. Provide solid leadership to local Blowers & Compressors team. 5. Establish performance metrics, standards and measurements for direct reports. Regularly monitor performance through timely performance reviews to create/enhance operational efficiencies and improve performance & productivity. 6. Responsible for reviewing and approving contractual agreements. Working with the financial and operational departments, develop revenue and profitability models for proposed partnerships in order to measure the scope and the impact of the relationship. Provide forecasts for additional resources needed to support the new business and contingency plans for changes in the business size or scope. 7. Act as a coach, mentor and role model for the company’s ethics and values within B & C in China. Maintains the highest corporate governance principles. 8. Create cohesive development plans to support the future recruitment and retention of the talent necessary to accomplish business objectives. Recognize and celebrate high performance and Sales Activities 9. Focus on growing B & C business throughout the territory and to achieve or exceed the assigned sales target for each fiscal year. 10. Responsible for all customers throughout the territory for B & C product range. 11. Extensive travel throughout the territory to meet customers and distributors, in order to support their requirements for B & C products. 12. Self- sufficient to provide proposals for B & C products to customer (distributor) base throughout the territory. 13. Review technical proposals prepared by the Factory and Regional Application Engineers on a project to project basis before submission to the customers (distributors) throughout the territory. 14. Implement defined product strategies to achieve the assigned sales and bookings plan for each fiscal year. 15. Submit monthly reports and forecast as well as an update on sales activities, for which timely reporting is required. 16. Continuously develop market segments which will generate sales revenue and expand B & C customer base. 17. Liaise and establish a strong relationship with B & C valuable customers (distributors) throughout the territory at all levels, as well as colleagues from F & PT China facilities and globally 18. Provide leadership and the ability to execute and implement tasks in a timely manner. 19. Demonstrate preparedness to accept responsibility and accountability for actions. Distributors 20. Forge a close and solid working relationship with distributors throughout the territory. 21. Provide all necessary levels of training and training tools with the assistance of Factory and Regional Application Engineers. 22. Ensure distributors are able to market B & C products at a technically competent level while remaining focused and committed. 23. Support distributors throughout the territory to achieve the assigned sales volume in line with B & C sales target within the territory. 24. Review distributors’ performance from time to time and make recommendations to the Director for any necessary changes to be implemented. Training 25. Obtain necessary product training from regional & USA application groups to ensure adequate Self- sufficiency for the role. This will necessitate extended training visits to these
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's or preferable Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering • At least 12 years’ sales experience in Mechanical Products with at least 5 years’ experience in leading a regional team in China. • Demonstrated leadership skill • Excellent communication and negotiation skill both in Chinese and in English • External focus and strong sense of market trends for project opportunities. • Mature in judgment facing complicated situations • Aggressive and rise to challenge • In depth understanding of complete lifecycle of project • Strong familiarity with development methodologies, • Excellent expertise in blowers & compressors application

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Ability to lead the junior and senior members . • Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment • Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and be able to put ideas into a tangible form • Able to travel globally for global team project development. • Familiar with Mechanical Engineering related technical regulations and standards.
