Role Summary/Purpose:
The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for providing engineering process support in accordance with documented procedures and practices for Healthcare Leasing products.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Works closely with Leasing Sales, Compliance, Legal and GE Healthcare Quality team to ensure 100% quality compliance for leasing products in accordance with documented procedures for all aspects of functional responsibility.
· Responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of process effectiveness and efficiency, by using a variety of Quality and Continuous Process Improvement tools, including but not limited to Six Sigma, Lean, engineering studies, etc.
· Ensures process efficiency and compliance effectiveness through the development and implementation of process verification and validation plans
· Supports continuous product and process improvement through detailed failure analysis for non-conformances, and investigates, develops and implements effective and compliant solutions for product or process corrections
· Ensures process compliance through the development of simple yet comprehensive procedures, work instructions, flowcharts, forms, templates, checklists, worksheets, and other product and process related documentation.
· Delivers and supports quality trainings
· Provides day to day support to Leasing operation team per direction from Leasing Operation leader, covering end-to-end operational servicing for leasing products in mainland China, and relevant portfolio reporting
· Performs a broad variety of tasks in support of product and process design as needed
Qualifications Required:
· College degree & above (or internationally recognized equivalent) in Physics, Laws, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant
· Minimum 3 years experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry or with medical product regulatory agencies
· Strong knowledge in local laws and regulations of medical devices and technical standards of medical products
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills internally and externally
· Strong problem solving skills and ability to work well independently & in a team setting.
· Fluent in Mandarin and English, verbal and written
Desired:
· Previous experiences in GE Industrial businesses or relevant industries, especially in healthcare
· Quality Systems Certificate holder
