Description:
Work strategically to drive physical and systematic changes in the material flow process by deploying Lean / Six Sigma methodology. Manage group of Materials Specialists.
Key responsibilities include:
As the point person for a modality/team, you will be responsible for:
· Inventory management
o Supplier material stream
o Stocking levels
o Transactional process support
· Global allocation of material
· Resource allocation
· Lean manufacturing initiatives and support-VMI, consignment, shipping frequency management
· Establishing and maintaining a teamwork environment with Sourcing
· Positive supplier relationships
Quality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4. Knowledge and understanding of production process work instructions and operates within them to ensure that a device conforms to its specifications
5. Ensures the creation of accurate, complete and timely records and DHRs
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor and above degree with more than 6 years purchasing, material management or supply chain working experience
2. Rich Oracle/MRP knowledge and experience.
3. Proven ability to drive change initiatives in a matrix environment
4. Ability to successfully motivate and maintain employee involvement while driving change
5. Good English communication skill.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Lean Manufacturing Experience
2. Lean Manufacturing AWO Leadership Experience
