Role Summary/Purpose

The Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and leading the supplier strategy for sourcing products and services for the assigned Global Purchase Family or Regional Commodity purchasing. Strategically, the role requires driving and developing comprehensive strategic relationships through strong technical/market expertise. Essential Responsibilities

• Driving the sourcing strategy that delivers a competitive advantage including implementation of the strategic supplier initiatives. This includes supplier selection, development, and supplier consolidation to ensure sourcing optimization and overall supplier performance. • Leading China region suppliers for electronic portfolio with full accountability for buy and meeting material deflation targets . • Partnering with key business stakeholders to ensure sourced material and services meet the needs of the business. • Lead a team of sourcing professionals to meet the sourcing requirements of the assigned Purchase Family . • Supporting Supplier Quality Program, ensuring supplier compliance with FDA, EHS, transportation and other regulatory and reputation requirements. • Leading the development & execution of sourcing strategic initiatives to ensure optimal cost productivity, fulfillment, and obsolescence/life-cycle management by leveraging standardization and latest industry practices. • Building deep relationships with Strategic Suppliers Relationships driving early supplier engagement into GE’s New Product Introduction (NPI) process, and long-term partnership for wing-to-wing product lifecycle.

Qualifications/Requirements

Quality Specific Goals:1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required4. Proficient knowledge and understanding of GEHC Purchasing Controls Procedure and associated Work Instructions and operates within them to ensure that all purchased product and services conform to specified requirements.5. Lead the development and maintaining of fully qualified and compliant supply base.Qualifications:1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or Finance2. Minimum of 6 years experience in Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain and/or Commercial background3. Excellent business/financial acumen, proficient in leading and setting direction for teams, including demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and drive change at all levels of the organization4. Excellent growth leadership skills demonstrating clear global perspective and understand factors impacting GEHC businesses and our suppliers5. Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 60% of time6. Influence/communication - establishes good relationships; drives change across functional & global boundaries

Desired Characteristics

1. Master in Business Administration2. 10 years solid sourcing, supply chain or commercial experience including 6 years in a leadership capacity. 3. Extensive global experience leading cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams4. Proven Executive Leadership skills in driving Global change across an organization, including strong Change Acceleration Process skills.5. Demonstrated ability to lead courageously, maintaining a strong position amidst opposition to resolve important issues, and ability to navigate through a large complex business.6. Quality Leadership experience
