JOB TITLE: Extension Service Specialist

REPORTS TO (JOB TITLE): Agro National Supply Chain Manager

FUNCTION: Supply Chain/ Agro

LOCATION: Shanghai


Role:

Extension Service Specialist will seamlessly consolidate scheduling part of Agro statistician and planning deployment role together, so that it could provide tailored while value-added Agro operation schedules in different levels (planning, scheduling and daily deployment). Also due to specific Agro operation needs, this position will handle lots of technical & commercial activities including commercial payments, relevant Agro Capex preparation, logistics supports and etc.


Accountabilities

- Based on potato movement plan, draft storage plan, transportation plan for each crop.
- Provide relevant operation analysis for better monitoring and guiding purpose via statistics tool.
- Based on effective communication, draft and daily monitor deployed harvest & transportation schedules.
- Handling relevant Agro commercial payments on seeds, chipstocks and land rents subject to corresponding Agro business operation need.
- Prepare Agro CAPEX application to support business expansion and new business development.
- Provide data processing and information exchange between coming ERP-based system and old-legacy.



Measurements

- Execute and Complete the following:
- Planning: Storage plan, Transportation plan
- Scheduling: Harvest Daily Report, Transportation Daily Report
- Statistics: All types of Operation Analysis Reports
- Commercial Payments on seeds/ chipstocks/land rent
- Commercial:"CAPITAL APPROPRIATIONS REQUEST"
- System:Data exchange between manual and ERP system
- The accuracy rate and timely delivery of above plan/schedule/reports.
- The number and quality for CAR forms.
- Relevant complaints from internal peers or external partners.
- General KPIs in Agro department.



WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Internal: Agro logistics, agro cool stores, agro quality, agro procurement and self-farm. Plant scheduling, Ops planning, Ops Purchasing, Finance and Company planning.

External: Potato contract farms, potato transportation party.



Key skills/ Critical experience

Key Skills:
- Basic Planning knowledge: Materials scheduling, inventory control, conversion rate, loss analysis and etc.
- Basic Statistics skills: Word, Excel, Pivot table, Drawing and etc.
- Middle Agro operation understanding: Potato planting cycle, Harvest process, Storage principle, Potato Quality parameters, Farmers characteristics, farm operation model and etc.
- ERP-based system application experience is a plus.

Personal Qualities:
- High integrity and strong responsibility sense.
- Good sense of urgency. Work hard and self-driven for continuous improvement..
- Strong principle-obey sense and process-oriented. Respect fact and do not just follow.
- Good communication skills and team work spirit.
- Willing to work in a fast while frequent changing environment.
- Strict deadline conception and good coordination skill.
- Details focused while good working attitude.
- Willing to take challenge and good patience.

Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor degree or above.
- 3-4 work experiences. At least over 2 yrs in multi-national company, food industry preferred.
- Work in earnest and willing to work in Agro scope.
- Strong learning will and learning ability.
