Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Source material suppliers with senses for best deal including delivery time, quality and cost
Monitor the processes by working directly with leading suppliers for material sourcing consolidation and implement company's material policy for cost advantage, consistency of quality and superior services.
Manage and perform sourcing activities including create materials management procedures and process control system, supplier identification, supplier audit, supply chain management, risk assessment, request for quote/information, quote analysis, supplier quality management, supplier delivery management and supplier performance management.
Work closely with designers to support them for new material development and ensure material developer understanding material expectations in development and production (quality, delivery and price).
Finding and developing new products that meet with fashion sense and with intension for customer benefit
Support sourcing suppliers in production to get material on time and make sure the lead time is ok for our orders
Support to solve problems on materials during quotation and bulk production
Working closely with QA to secure the new material is achieving related standard requirements
Provide and update the new material to all R&D and PD when new material coming
Build and maintain supplier database. Evaluate material suppliers' performance and coordinate education for new suppliers
Secure Sportmaster has material library for long term and short term trends. Library will be duplicated in Moscow. Each season will update.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

?5+ years working experience in footwear or apparel business with material sourcing
?Familiar with different materials, textiles, leather synthetics
?Good command of English in both writing and oral
?Good knowledge on materials market for footwear and related products.
?Experience of production process in footwear industry with responsibilities for purchasing raw materials
Experience of working in buying office for sourcing
