As an Innovation Designer you will support Deckers Brands design process by creating digital footwear, apparel, and gear models and photorealistic images (illustrator, photoshop, 3D).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Produce photo realistic images of footwear, apparel and gear prototypes from existing bases
? Produce unique designs in 3D to visually communicate new concepts
? Contribute to developing the Deckers Brands 3D database and cooperate with suppliers
-Interface with Data Management system as primary file and data libraries, maintain accurate data by uploading latest 3D files and associated documents
? Research upcoming 3D technology and find opportunities where it might be applied to our current process
-Generate product specifications, bill of materials and costing using 3D footwear model
? Liaise with Design and Development teams to provide support for key meetings and milestones
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
? 2 years’ experience in footwear design or development OR 2 years’ experience using 3D design software to create life-like virtual models
? Exceptional attention to detail
? Rendering, animation or Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator experience required
? Experience with Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel and Outlook is needed
? Passionate and self-motivated, willing to go the extra mile to complete the task
? Must be able to work in an extremely creative, fast paced team environment and possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
