1. Application programmer: In this role you will utilize your programming skills by designing and developing software applications that support our industry product portfolio. Applications for our proprietary LinX software are developed with Microsoft’s Visual Studio IDE, using C++/CLI and the .NET framework. The proprietary LinX RT software is developed with FreeScale’s CodeWarrior IDE, and is developed using the C programming language. The CoDeSys development environment is used to develop industry-standard controller applications, with a QT-based user interface. This position requires a strong working relationship with our customers to insure understanding of their requirements, and incorporation into our on-going development efforts.
 2. Presales Engineering: In this role, you will be part of the technical sales team with direct contact to our customers. This role is the primary contact for “how to use” our product. This role works “engineer to engineer” as tier 2 support in how to program and configure our product. There is a troubleshooting component of this role so basic electrical and communication protocol debugging skills are required.
 3. Seeking to understand what the customers will need from our products. You will provide input to the product planning, and will work with the customer to understand what their needs and provide feedback to the product teams.

? Education background/Qualifications:
 BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science required
? Ability to interface with customers to understand needs and define customer requirements
? Proven experience in developing applications using C++/C# within the .NET frame work
? Familiarity with the CAN protocol
? Excellent troubleshooting skills
? Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
? Mechanical aptitude
? Ability to provide technical sales and support for outside systems integrators and OEMs and support the development of User’s Manuals and Help Systems for the standard products
? Ability to plan and conduct product training for customers and in-house sales teams
? Familiarity with open source development and linux is a plus
? Basic circuit analysis skills
? Fluent English (speak/write)
