职位描述：
Required to help manage Mattel and Fisher-Price product development projects from concept through production, in collaboration with a worldwide, cross-functional team consisting of representatives from Design, Development, Marketing, Manufacturing, and others throughout the product design and development process. Your responsibility will include some oversight of issues pertaining to product schedule, cost, product functionality, and quality. Need to have strong communication and leadership skills as you will be working cross campuses Globally as well as cross-functions.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Lead cross-functional team to ensure product continues throughout the development lifecycle and support on time delivery
o Utilizing Project Management skills within team environment that sits in various locations Globally
o Main focus on Preliminary Development but would be supporting full product life from concept ideation to manufacturing production readiness
? Manage multiple projects of varying product types and complexities while maintaining cost, schedule and quality targets.
? Work closely with development, tooling, and manufacturing to ensure successful project completion.
? Develop, maintain and drive schedule execution of local market products.
? Act as liaison between different brand teams from California, New York & Montreal locations and manufacturing in various locations throughout China for the product life cycle.
 
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Lead cross-functional team to ensure product continues throughout the development lifecycle and support on time delivery
o Manage project schedules and product costs.
o Guide Marketing into optimizing the content and features of products given the constraints of selling price and target margins.
? Work in a team environment with Design, Packaging, Product Integrity, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, Sound Studio, Mechanical Engineering, manufacturing plants, and other development sources.
? Support standard Mattel systems with data entry to keep systems up to date and accurate information.
o Product attribute information, life cycle change orders, preliminary BOM building
? Review concept sketches and providing technical support for products in the preliminary design phase.
o Support to confirm manufacturing feasibility and work closely with Design to provide mechanical direction and support
? Develop preliminary cost estimates for financial analyses for different types of products.
o Analyze product design to effect maximum utilization of materials, methods and processes in order to meet target cost and quality specifications.
o Estimate tooling cost and capacity required to support product launch
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  
? Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience, prefer candidate from consumer products background
? Strong Communication and Leadership skills
? Strong Organizational skills
? Hands on product development experience is a must
? Must have proven ability to juggle multiple projects, make quick decisions and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
? Strong project management experience, preferably in consumer products, is preferred
? Knowledge of plastics and plastic part design is preferred.
? Basic understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes is a plus.
? Pro/ENGINEER, 3-D CAD training is a plus
? Must be comfortable speaking in front of large cross-functional groups
? Ability to speak English, Madeiran and Cantonese is a plus 举报 分享
